What a lovely spot for a family gathering! The atmosphere was warm, and the beautiful listed building added charm. We brought our precious dog along, and he was welcomed with open arms. Enjoyed a delightful family dinner service that was well organized.
My kids wished for more space to play. A little play area would help families like ours enjoy even more.

Crown in Nantwich was a delight for my taste buds! Coffee from nearby 'Nantwich Bookshop and Coffee Lounge' fuelled our mornings, while the homemade pies and packed lunches from their kitchen were pure bliss. The friendly staff and quirky, tilted rooms added to the charm of our stay.
The noise from revellers outside kept us up until the early hours, and the bath in the ensuite gave me the heebie-jeebies! It didn’t give way luckily, but it was a bit of a rush shower. The walk-in shower I got later was spot on, though.

Charming old-world character runs throughout the hotel, especially in the quirky layout of the guest rooms. The dining options include a delicious fixed-price menu, with standout homemade pies and generous breakfast portions that hit the spot.
The structure's age brings some quirks like creaky floorboards and wonky corridors, which can be a charming feature—but those expecting modern luxury might find it a bit off-putting. Noise from the street can be a problem, particularly on weekends, where shouting crowds may disrupt a peaceful night’s sleep. Some rooms have inconsistent water pressure, leading to frustrating showers that take ages to heat up, and the mattresses could use an upgrade, impacting comfort.

Quirky charm and comfy beds
This place was a delightful surprise! Quirky vibe with sloping floors and old wooden beams made it unique. Room 9 had the comfiest bed ever. Dinner at the restaurant was really nice, and the staff were super friendly. Only bummer was the low ceilings—had to duck a bit to get around. What a fun find!
